Terry is an Irish author, and a member of both the Historical Novel Society and The Irish Independent Authors’ Collective. From an early age, he had a particular fascination with all things historical, from cars to architecture and European history, so it was no surprise that his first novel, On Marian Place, was set against the historical backdrop of World War Two.

Published in June 2017, On Marian Place is a fast-paced, multi-layered German crime thriller, which has been very well received by many avid readers, including Angela Merkel, the German Bundes Chancellor. Mrs Merkel grew up in the village of Templin, close to where the story begins.

He is also rather fond of more light hearted yet emotional stories, one of which is his latest novel, The Piano Boat, Located in the village of Ballinderry, Co. Tipperary. It is both gentle yet powerful, and tells the story of how two very different people find their way from grief and darkness back to hope, together.

Terry is currently working on a screenplay who's subject matter involves a major incident that took place in Belfast some years past.

With love and thanks

“Briege, dressed in a thick, woollen cardigan and black leggings, brought a camping seat on deck. There was not a breeze to be found and the water glistened like fine crystal. The stillness was broken only by trout rising to catch flies near the surface.”
